Opening July 19th at 3pm at Glenelg Fine Art Gallery, 26 Gordon Street Glenelg (The Old Fire Station). We are just a stroll from the famous Jetty Road shopping precinct. We acknowledge with much gratitude the artists and organisations you see represented on these pages. This is about their work, their messages.

Hours are from 10am – 5pm Monday to Friday, 11am to 4pm Saturday & Sunday or by appointment.

Visitors to our  Gallery will find something quite unique; the artists who work with us come from diverse regions and communities across Australia, these include – Pitjantjatjara (SA), Ngarrindjeri (SA), Mimili Maku (SA), Kullilla & Muruwari people (Qld), Bundjalung Art (NSW), Wotjobaluk (Vic), Katherine (NT), Kakadu (NT), Atherton Tablelands (Qld), Wonnaru (NSW), Muru Mittigar (NSW), Girringun (Qld), Kimberley’s (WA) & Tiwi Art (Tiwi Islands – NT).

As well as Aboriginal art, we have a range of Didgeridoos, boomerangs, jewellery and other smaller hand painted items, woven baskets and apparel inc T Shirts, scarves (made in Australia) – also watches and sunglasses featuring genuine Aboriginal paintings – suitable for all age groups.
We will also have opal jewellery (Aboriginal Dreamtime relates to The Rainbow Serpent and opal)

With the rare exception it is not  possible for  tourists to cover the whole of Australia on their visits to this vast country, and with some  private communities permits are required, some roads are impassable in the wet season and of course there is the added expense of travel, accommodation etc - at our Gallery they will be able to purchase items from these diverse regions at the one stop.

When buyers purchase art from our Gallery we offer security with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist.

All copyright to art and words remain with the artist meaning that all reproduction, copying, downloading etc is not included in the purchase of a particular rendering of that piece.  No copying is permitted from this site. Thankyou for your respect and understanding.

Between 1993 and 2008, the art market expanded at a rate of 12.6% compound annually, Aboriginal art increased its total value 37-fold, and non-Aboriginal art increased by over 5 fold.
