“Rainforest art is so different and unique from a traditional owner’s point of view.  This is where the mountains meet the lowlands, the rainforest and the sea. These people are freshwater and saltwater people who hunt in the rainforests, mangroves, rivers and ocean. They are the traditional carers for this country.  This is some of the knowledge that was passed on by Aboriginal elders in the community.” Gerry Suhra.
